Warranty Questions

1. How long is my Raptor Series Warranty?

Raptor Series guarantees the original purchaser of our products a limited lifetime warranty on all stainless steel products and a ten (10) year warranty on all black powder coated products from the date of original purchase. This warranty covers against manufacturer defects in materials, workmanship and finish under normal use. The step pads are covered under warranty for one (1) year. The powder coating of the brackets have a high probability of being chipped by rocks, debris, etc over time due to the position under the vehicle. Because of this, the warranty for brackets and hardware are covered for failure only (bending or breaking), not rust.

This warranty applies only to new products and is limited to the repair or replacement of company’s products. Original purchaser must return defective merchandise along with the purchase receipt, to the original place of purchase.

2. Are the step pads covered under the warranty?

Yes. The step pads are covered under warranty for 1 year.  Just call us with your proof of purchase and we will send you a replacement pad free of charge (no shipping included).  After 1 year you will be responsible for purchasing replacement step pads

3. Are the brackets covered under the warranty?

Yes. Our brackets are made with ¼ inch thick carbon steel and then black powder coated. The powder coating of the brackets have a high probability of being chipped by rocks, debris, etc over time due to the position under the vehicle. Because of this, the warranty for brackets and hardware are covered for failure only (bending or breaking), not rust. In the rare case that a bracket broke because of rust, we would ship you a replacement bracket for free! They are covered under our lifetime warranty!

4. What does the warranty not include?

This warranty does not include damage resulting from road hazards such as gravel or other debris, product misuse, improper installation (such as stripping out bolts and/or nutserts), impairments from accidents, product modifications, product neglect or scratches during the life of the product. Warranty does not include costs of removal, installation, labor, inconvenience or consequential damages.

5. Is the Raptor Series Warranty transferable?

This warranty is not transferable and only applies to the original purchaser. Original purchaser must return defective merchandise along with the purchase receipt, to the original place of purchase.

6. How do I file a warranty claim?

Warranty Claims may be initiated by visiting: http://www.raptorseries.com/cms/. You will be guided through a simple process to register your warranty claim.

7. What information is required to file a warranty claim?

8. What if I don't have sales receipt?

Receipts from the retailer are preferred as it provides much of the required information all in one spot, such as point of purchase, date of purchase, material description and quantity.

*Claims submitted without an original sales receipt to define product purchased, quantities, and retail point of purchase will result in delays.

9. Define what is required within the requested photos?

Photos are required to resolve any claim. You may upload up to 5 photos with the initial registration. Additional information may be requested and supplied after registration is complete.

10. After completing the registration, what will happen?

You will receive a response within 48-72 hours to the supplied email address, which will identify your case by name. All additional correspondences will refer to your name on the warranty claim.

Your claim data will be reviewed to verify completion of the requested information. Once reviewed, the claim will be assigned to a Regional Warranty Specialist which will contact you via your noted preferred method of contact.
